7·2 months agoI feel like an 8 energy wise. Mentally I would give myself a 3 - I am very paranoid from a houseguest showing up after I had to call 911 because they had an extreme mental episode earlier this week that made me feel unsafe.

Well I guess it’s up to interpretation but one theme I took away from is

The first half of the movie the woman protagonist is untrusting of the situation with the male. He eventually wins her trust over then dies.
In the meantime in the 2nd half, the douchebag character Justin Long constantly betrays her trust through various acts as the absurdity completely amps up.
I’ve only seen one of these at Meow Wolf years ago and thought it was a neat concept! I still have the tiny piece of art I bought hanging on my wall.
Well that’s certainly a take. I watched it for the 2nd time recently and I think it’s a pretty solid flick that has a lot to say. I think the absolute absurdity it descends into was supposed to be part of the point, but I also like movies that are completely over the top - like Beau Is Afraid.
I still haven’t checked out Weapons yet but I keep hearing good things.
That one episode of South Park where they find out manatees write all of Family Guy’s jokes. Pretty good burn imo even though I know you’re asking for jokes specifically within the show lol
I only saw it when it first came out and have been thinking of giving it another rewatch. I don’t remember being blown away by the plot or anything - just that the action and cinematography was excellent.

I had one for many many years but finally upgraded to a flat top electric stove. Highly recommended if you’re ever in the position to update that!
Honestly one of the best! An excellent lyricist and songwriter as well - although a little heavy handed on the harmonica.
