Who reads this anyway? Nobody, that’s…. Oh wait. Some people actually do. I guess I should put something worth reading in here then. Err… Let’s go with lorem impsum for the time being.

  • No shortage of trash, but that’s true for all platforms.

I just used the customize button on the top right corner and moved politics and a bunch of other junk to the “hide” column. This way, the home feed has a chance of containing things worth watching. Mostly though, I just use Odysee for watching the few channels I care about. Incidentally, I arranged the “followed” section to the top of the list.

As a result, I don’t see any conspiracy or MAGA nonsense at all.

    Fine by me.

As a side note, there are people who genuinely look like that because they have something seriously wrong with their metabolism. Maybe muscles just refuse to grow, maybe nutrients don’t absorb or whatever. Lots of things can lead to a similar outcome.

The human mind is constantly looking for patterns everywhere. Just take a look at some clouds, you’ll see what I mean.

Recognising people, faces, animals and objects with limited and noisy data is very hard, so mistakes happen all the time. More specifically false positives are far more common than false negatives. This means that it’s very easy to see faces in the clouds rather than missing faces in a crowd.

Same error occurs when looking at this picture. It’s basically an optical illusion that exploits the human pattern recognition system.

Yeah, that’s a classic case of Acute Waifuitis. If you notice your firend’s computer hardware starts manifesting anime girls, treat that as a cry for help. He won’t be aware of it, but you may be his only hope.

Early symptoms include disrupted sleep cycle due to binge-watching seasonal anime at 3 AM, developing strong opinions about dub vs. sub, and using obscure anime references in real world situations.

It can progress to full-blown Weeb Ascension Syndrome, where you start collecting figurines you can’t afford, and unironically using Japanese honorifics with your friends.

Better get that checked out before you wake up one day with a katana collection and a part-time job at an anime convention.
