Just the other day I figured out the Plants vs Zombie fangame has not only a community server ( discord, sadly ), but they also have a demo out! I had an old build using an old engine that has more levels, but I downloaded and played the new demo and it’s amazing so far. Officially called 植物大的僵尸: Universe ( Plants vs Zombies: Universe in English ).

Totally looking forward to the games completion ( assuming neither EA or Talkweb don’t destroy it ) because it’s a very ambitious project trying to take content from, if I remember correctly, pvz1 international, China’s exclusive pvz1 journey to the west edition, 2 international, pvz2 Chinese edition, Online, and the card game ( not 100% sure if I’m right on that one being added ) and rolling it into a single game.

Demo currently gives you Emperor’s Mausoleum from Online and Ancient Egypt (the pvz Online version), with just base levels for now. Minigame side levels, which are present in the old build I have, aren’t currently available in the latest demo they have linked in their discord. As a big enough fan of the non spin-off titles, this makes me very gitty.

Otherwise, more dungeon clawler and that’s about all for non-mobile games. I did try modding Sonic Lost Worlds on PC, but I can’t with my setup.

1. Definitely gonna keep my subscriptions as minimal as I can, like I currently am: just a VPN. Obviously I have a few others I’ll need in the future like utilities, internet, and phone, but those are the bare minimum you need since you can scrape by without paying a dime for content thanks to piracy, so long as you are careful.
2. I have a couple of ones that I’d say are both high on the list ( no idea which is higher because they’re both pretty annoying to me ).

The first is that when I do dishes at home, I put certain things a very specific way when filling the dishwasher and putting things away, which is why I absolutely hate when other people do dishes. I’ll deal with other people doing the dishes, but then I always feel like I gotta go and put things back where they belong when I’m not the one to put the dishes away.

The second is more furry fandom specific. So, when it comes to fursuits, some people might ditch the fursuit head and just maybe wear the paws or other pieces of it if it’s not a single piece costume. My gripe is specifically that: not wearing the head. I don’t care if you poodle ( wear a partial and show some skin ), talk in suit, or whatever, but I think it’s extremely disrespectful to the character your suit is based off of, whether it’s your fursona, OC, an adopt, liberty suit, whatever, to not wear the head at a bare minimum. It’s why my opinion the bare minimum you should do for a fursuit commission should be the head.

I’ve got at least 2 on my desk. Both from my new phones ( the one I accidentally fried in a lake and the replacement I got ). They’re both connected to some little piece of magnet strip that I have no idea where it came from.

The X and Y games set in the Kalos ( France ) region. Also the same generation they released Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire ( remakes of Ruby and Sapphire ( based on some part of Japan ) ).

I don’t think I have any of the optional software installed, I’m pretty sure, but all the keys naturally light up. I don’t remember what brand or what exact model I have, but I have the lights on the lowest setting possible so they don’t distract me.

That’s pretty much the only thing I hate about my desktop keyboard. Absolutely not a fan of RGB lighting because it’s just wasteful and probably drains more resources than it’s worth.

I need all the resources in the world so if I ever end up with a better desktop I can run such obviously resource intensive games such as Dungeon Clawler at maximum efficiency.

Way too much Dungeon Clawler on my Steam Deck. I think that and a little bit of Baba Is You are mostly the only non-mobile games I’ve really been playing over the past week.

Depends on the game. I’m still a very long ways away from completing it, so please no spoilers, but Sonic Frontiers? They added enough to the open world that it’s fun to run around and do side stuff in. Pokemon Violet? The charm wore out quick enough, making the region feel way too empty compared to most other gens, so no. No clue on the DLC, but I imagine they’re similarly as empty and devoid of NPCs as well. Games like VoxeLibre on Luanti? Wouldn’t want it any other way!

Just got a legit copy of Dungeon Clawler and installed it on my deck and it’s definitely harder than the old version on my laptop. Also, I save scummed the heck out of Dokopon Kingdom on Dolphin over the weekend, until the point the CPU turned evil and finally caught up to me and caused my first death.

I have also been enjoying Sonic Lost Worlds on 3DS (first playthrough), while also having tried a couple levels on PC and I don’t know whether it’s my PC or what, but it’s pretty much the only game I could recommend the console version over the PC version despite absolutely HATING the special stages because of how trash the motion controls and movements are in my opinion.

If it isn’t able to federate to other servers and/or services, like kbin to lemmy and such, without 3rd party tools like the bluesky bridge thingamajig, absolutely not.

Just call all the older gentlemen like my dad and they’d be able to find all the coins in a matter of minutes. You know, the type of people who will randomly bend over to pick up a coin no matter how hidden it is or how well it blends in. Doesn’t matter if they’re looking up at the sky, some sort of 6th sense will go off in their head and they’ll immediately find the coin and pick it up.

Don’t know much about this guy they’re referencing, but I’m pretty sure that might have been John Krisfalusi, the creator of the show itself. I could be wrong and they both could have been terrible people, but it’s no secret John was terrible and I doubt he’s changed that much in over 30 years.

My bank app does the same and will most likely log me out if I end up switching to a different app. I don’t mind because I’d rather have that happen than have a stranger come up, steal my phone while unlocked, and be able to access my bank details (no matter how unlikely that scenario is).

To see the chaos, definitely some place like yt. Imagine you are watching an hour long video essay about something you love but you have to keep interacting with the website/app in some way that disrupts the video every 5 or so minutes or else you get locked out and require 2FA every time.

I imagine after a long enough time, the lazy people would just quit going and using their service all together. I know I would.

Specifically on Deck, I think I’ve been relegated to just Pokemon Rejuvenation, Baba Is You, and Gemcraft Frostborn Wrath.

I tried getting gyro controls working for Dolphin to play the 2 Sonic book based games, but I can’t figure it out with my stupidity and cannot find a used compatible USB or bluetooth IFR sensor online for the wii remote I can connect to my deck.

Yeah, looks like one of those gacha games, so I really don’t think OLED Deck or desktop Linux users are missing literally anything whatsoever.

For AI bots, yeah maybe, but that sure as hell ain’t gonna work on a real person who is using deepfake tools to fake their appearance for a live video call.

Absolutely wild stuff, but definitely not unexpected. Scammers gonna scam, just now they have some of the greatest tools to scam people.
