5·19 days agoI used to get really really high as a teenager and go walk around the airport and people watch as a teenager. No one checked shit. And this was at one of the busiest airports in the world.
This is great. Except what does “truly an external experience” mean? I feel like they are trying to say that waiting for food to cook is a timeless shared experience. Not sure what they mean by “external experience.”

3·26 days agoEverything Netflix makes feels like slop now. Once upon a time NF was a marker of quality, but now they make every documentary 3 or 4 parts for no reason—dragging out storylines until they are boring—and they all look the same visually. There isn’t anything that makes them unique. They feel paint by numbers.
This is extra disappointing with a filmmaker like Chris Smith who has made some all time classic films (American Movie, American Job), but his Netflix stuff now looks like anyone in the Netflix stable could have directed them.

Thank you for writing that. 100% agree and great use of “static age.”
Well thought reply. Thank you. We just disagree about police. I feel there is enough evidence out there that shows their main priority is property protection for the rich. I have anecdotal evidence as well. There’s literally tons of it. I think we just don’t see eye to eye on it, but that’s fine. I don’t see eye to eye with my dad either, and I love him.
So you’re pro police and state violence?
Read the news. Start there.
You sure are upset when all I asked was for proof of me being reductive. ACAB.
Prove to me it’s an oversimplification.
Same. Totally forget these people actually exist
I think the police have proven they are only out to protect the property of the rich enough times to say that it is across the board. The police are one of the largest gangs in America and they are inherently corrupt. If a cop in a small town cares about normal people it doesn’t really matter in the big picture of police corruption in america.
The police don’t come now if you live in the wrong area. American police protect the property of the rich. That’s it.
