I scrolled through months of the community’s feed and only one post author is posting the content many are being made to feel unsafe by. The Lemmy block system is great at blocking a single user. In this particular case, no more sophisticated filtering system is needed.

I do understand that many scenarios are more complex but this is not one of those instances.

Been doing it for years. You can poop and pee anywhere at any speed already.

Perhaps learning how to block authors you don’t care for would help the people that feel unsafe due to a comic being posted.

There’s a reason and the reason will likely be revealed to be kickbacks and payoffs.

I don’t think I have a preference, both bring me a lot of long-term joy. My family is big on poems for birthdays and holidays and they are also great at meaningful gifts. My daughter made a father’s day playlist on Spotify and wrote an entry for each song with her memory of what we were doing when she heard the song. I often play it and have read the accompanying notes so many times, I’ve memorized it so I get a little burst of dopamine for each song, no matter what I’m doing or where I am.

Of course they do. That was literally my point. Musk didn’t bother to hide it so we don’t need new studies to show that’s how they operate.

Absolutely nobody needed a new study to show the risks. We all saw what could happen as Musk altered Grok to behave in manners that he approved of.

I don’t want to provide false hope but we had two cats in the past that had the same issue and both times, their recovery followed what you’re describing. It took some time for the passing of urine to look free of obstruction(not a dribble) and of a sufficient amount and they both recovered fully.

Stay vigilant with keeping multiple clean sources of water around(sometimes the cats like moving water, so a fountain-type water feeder that you can buy at a pet store or online). Stick with the medicine and I would bet my money on your kitteh making a full recovery.

As an American, I say let’s fucking go!

Went from one billionaire’s pet project to another’s and am shocked… SHOCKED, I say! That it’s the same drivel and slop.

I will be legitimately upset if I make it past the world average, much less 40 years past that.

It seems Firefox removed the ability to view by domain years ago but there are addons that provide the functionality you’re looking for.

I do play with it every once in a while but if it’s not problematic setting up or there are some settings that don’t work correctly, invariably, there will eventually come a game update that breaks it on linux.

For all it’s flaws, the games I play have never needed more than an install in Windows. I know that may not be the case for all games, I can only speak to the games I enjoy playing.

I have used it since the 90s as my main machine and have nothing but love for it but Linux is not there yet for my gaming needs.

As long as it continues to play my games without issue, I couldn’t care less what they do with it. I use a second machine with a KVM switch; Windows runs games only and the second machine running linux does absolutely everything else. Installing fresh, blocking telemetry and blackholing windows update domains has worked fantastically for years.

In this case, I think it’s target user isn’t looking to get out from under the billionaires and corpos, just the American billionaires and corpos. That’s who eyou is designed to appeal to.

The tiny number of people who are anti billionaire and corpos-run social media regardless of nationality already have our very tiny corner carved out.
