Do you mean it didn’t play the CD inside? Do you hear it running past the disc-identification phase and idles?
Am I the only one who’s old enough to remember CD-ROMs, and they used to be able to play CDs without an OS running? As long as they get power from the IDE power socket, you can put a CD inside and press on the physical “play” button on the panel of the CD-ROM.
extracted a rib, and built Eve from it.
My question is how Adam not died, and how to build a woman with a rib.
But the slowness… I have a stroke every time I press tab after any git command in Git Bash. The piece of shit takes three seconds to respond. In Linux it happens instantaneously.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Is musl libc still not suitable for workstations?
2·9 days agoThe list is definitely longer than that. I switched to musl overlay about three years ago and I couldn’t daily drive it. I guess the six comes from no one is using it.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Is musl libc still not suitable for workstations?
1·9 days agoGoogle Crashpad is used for crash reporting by some program, and it can’t be built with musl. It also does not build in FreeBSD, and I suspect it only works with glibc outside of Mac OS, Windows, and Android.

52·9 days agoThat is not a spectrum of open source. They are all open source, as in you can access the source code without restriction. These licenses just limit what you can do with the source code.

Does it have to be full moon? Does it only happen at that exact moment when the moon becomes full which is, mathematically zero seconds?
If it spans a time duration, how long?Is it related to the surface area that has line of sight to the Earth? If so, what’s the threshold? Is it a hard threshold or with a jitter buffer?
Because executives only need the application work on the PPT-level, and make it in two days. Modern software engineering is dead.
Overpriced, but still cheaper in absolute value compared to real food. Real food is more expensive but it provides what junk food can’t: nutrition.
Please also avoid getting groceries in supermarkets. General grocery store or a bazaar is way cheaper. And you support local merchants this way.
