Very common. Mostly PC games. It was much more decentralized as internet access was almost nil. So we had BBS’s (google it if you don’t know what that is). At the time a BBS would typically have better transfer speeds than internet would.

Nope. I had more 15 years ago. Now I’m in worse shape, older, more health issues. No kids, make good money but it goes nowhere because inflation is up and I don’t even have my own house unlike 15 years ago.
I’m in building maintenance. It’s not affected at all by AI. Most of the trades are safe. Basically anything which would require both advanced LLM and advanced robotics to replace.
I’m here because I like the way the upvote/downvote feature works on here better than Reddit. Theoretically you could have equal upvotes and downvotes on a post on Reddit and it would look like there is almost no engagement at all. Here it’s far more honest.

I played Super double Dragon for SNES earlier. I also played super Mario Bros 2 for nes this week. Platform games are a great way to pass the time on the go when you have a phone and a Bluetooth controller.

This reminds me of this idiot manager we had at work once. He said he was going to lean on our vendors to get better prices. What ended up happening was the vendors one by one decided it wasn’t worth it until only one was left, they realized they had a monopoly and doubled their prices every quarter for the next 3 quarters. This is the problem with idiots who have never had a real job, they don’t understand how regular people think or what their motivations are.

Get a decent set of exercise bands. I have 5lbs all the way up to multiple 100lbs ones. They are relatively cheap, light and highly mobile.
