No. Your initial comment is whataboutism. The cartoon is not.
This cartoon is about Ukraine.

They tried their best :(

An Australian app, so you can say “Epstein” on this one but still not “stop the genocide and colonisation of Palestine”. At least the hate speech manager (for now) isn’t an ex-IDF Zionist and the platform (for now) is not expressly pro-Israel / pro-genocide.

That’s ok, shareholders don’t have to approve. This is the mentality of an abuser.

Indeed! Castro famously opted for a moral vest over kevlar when visiting the US.

Great post and I really enjoyed the replies. Mine is of Chavez visiting Castro in 2006 in Havanna, as Castro was dying of cancer. Both men were imprisoned for a failed coup but later rose to power (Chavez democratically and Castro by revolutionary liberation of the country), and both men died in a hospital bed in their respective countries in 2013.

As this is a cultural artifact I’m sure there are many ways of interpreting it, but I thought tankies were the people who think it’s right to suppress imperial-backed anti-democratic coups by any means necessary, and that it originated from the events of the Hungarian Revolution.

Don’t forget napalm and defoliants.

This topic has come up a lot (not least from Cory Doctorow). The fact that the rich are both so fragile and so un-creative is why they love AI, especially the sycophantic variants. They can’t handle someone saying no to them or, apparently, an accurate description of the past that isn’t completely flattering to them. Let them work in food services, lol.

This is an argument for community run fiber, not for Musk.

Are people going to start listening to their “paranoid” nephews yet?
This meme was not appreciated on .world

Someone must have clicked “I’m in this photo and I don’t like it”.
lmao there he is <3
Yea, that’s right. To add: the argument that focuses on voters’ individual behavior ignores the system within which they make their choices i.e. gerrymandering, private political parties, FPTP, winner takes all, Citizens United, Super PACs etc. It is a very low-IQ take to place the blame solely on the voters, and those unelected, unaccountable people who design the rules of the system would like everyone to have that take.
Yea, that’s right.
Cowbee
Nope, try again.
Ding ding ding! That’s right, OpenAI, the company where being profitable is a physical and mathematical impossibility!
