59·1 year agoBoston reportedly told detectives she used the phrase “because it’s what is in the news right now,” and that she had learned of the phrase due to the UnitedHealthcare homicide.
However, Boston added that she does not own any firearms and “was not a danger to anyone,” police said.
Boston was charged with threats to conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism, according to the affidavit.
“My client is 42, married mother of three. Never had any criminal charges or convictions. May you release her on her own recognizance,” her attorney Jim Headley said to a judge during her first appearance in court. However, the judge set her bond at $100,000, stating, “I do find that the bond of $100,000 is appropriate considering the status of our country at this point.”
3 Words that will get you charged with terrorism.
While denying people healthcare makes you a “hero” because you weren’t born ultra wealthy.

As a rich person you are fine to endanger the rest of the people on the road for a small fee. As a company it is fine to violate laws and rights of people for a small fee.

Ground News lets you at least choose the outlet you read it from.
At least unlike most times this Guardian article is written by them and not just quoting the AP source like most other sites are doing.

1·2 years agoMy friends hate the need to do this. It does just take a second to click into community / instance and block it and you won’t be bothered again but a lot of people can’t be bothered with that one second even and would rather have something simpler unfortunately
So you need to look at the number of de federations. That is basically how many other instances have blocked them and do not receive content from them to their feed. You can still go to all these instances using their respective urls and see what they are like. The reasons for blocking them vary depending on the instance. Edit: They can still be federated with other instances that don’t block them creating their own little fediverse bubbles.
