Thanks, I hope everyone can find physical activities that work for them. If you don’t use your muscles you lose them. I change it up depending on muscle group throughout the week but it’s mostly just basic curls, overheads, squats, sometimes lawnmower pull type workouts for the back. I invested in an adjustable dumbell recently but there’s very little difference between that and a backpack. Any time day would benefit me but it’s easier to get started in the evening when I’m worrying about sleep for the next day again.

What helped me, is to realize that those chores can feel good to do, if your body feels good first. My issue was that I forget that I can feel okay in the first place because I’m always behind on everything including sleep. Since lack of sleep clouds my judgement and hurts me this much, now I prioritize it more so I started doing quick 2min workouts at home to get better sleep (load a backpack with books if you don’t have weights). I still struggle with getting enough sleep, but the quality of sleep is seriously a game changer when your muscles don’t subconsciously ache and make you restless in your sleep. That 2min is the difference between me enjoying my weekend and relaxing vs. laying in bed stressed and not getting anything done which continues the cycle for next week.

I completely understand. Before this I actually taped my phone below the motorcycle dash which was scarier because I had to reuse the tape again on the way back and it was coming off. I think it was a Note 2 at the time and those things were huge.

I’ve used it on a motorcycle attachment for a long trip before. The same pop socket was then attached to a new phone and used for another 2 years. Maybe I lucked out with that model or it just sticks to flat cases better.
