  • It’s a repost if it’s in the same community twice. This is from Reddit, so it’s not a repost, it’s a crosspost. You may say “But Vi-, isn’t it a crosspost when the crosspost button is clicked?” Not so! The crosspost button was invented much later than the general concept of crossposts.

A practitioner of magic without doctrine. Chaotes draw techniques and schemas from many different sources including paganism, psychology, and pop culture. We use whatever works to get the results we want, it doesn’t have to form a unified belief system.

Many of us don’t believe there’s any such thing as an objective reality. Everything is subjective, which means we can use every subjectivity for its benefits and move between them freely.

  • Oh, I can turn My internal monologue off! When I was a teenager, I read how language shapes our ability to think. So I trained Myself to think without language, to increase the range of thoughts I’m capable of having and reduce bias.

Sometimes I realise I’m getting overstimulated (autism) by too much talking in My life, so I spend a few days with less internal monologue, to give Myself a break from speech, at least in My head. Then the buzzing sensation goes away and I slowly go back to having an internal monologue.

  • My family lives scattered across America, I in Australia. We spend hours in voice call each day. We use discord for roleplaying games, to watch TV together, to play video games, to chat, to discuss philosophy and politics.

Terminally online trans furries are a culture. This is how we participate in the community. Other cultural groups concentrate in one place because of heritability, but we’re randomly born to normal parents, so we’re scattered across the world. You might call us a diaspora. Living together in meatspace is a privilege many of us spend years working to attain.

That’s what Element can’t do. And if you don’t understand having a family online, that’s fine. I’m just explaining for the person who asked.
